“It was a pleasure working with Laura from our initial conversation, right through to paying our final invoice. She totally got what we wanted and the vibe we were going for. She travelled a fair way to produce a stunning tasting evening, and continued to be easy to work with right through planning the menu, up to the wedding day. On the day, Laura and her team were superb, immaculately turned out and all so happy to be involved in our special day, chatting with our guests and contributing enormously to the atmosphere – so crucial at a garden wedding reception . We’d wondered if they’d be able to replicate the tastiness of the food on the tasting evening for 100 odd guests, but Laura and team surpassed themselves serving our guests the most beautiful Mediterranean inspired BBQ food, all beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The empty plates and wonderful comments we had from friends and family were proof enough that it was exceptional, and to this day it remains the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding (although we would say that)
Working within the constraints of our home made bar, Laura’s bar team made sure everyone had one hell of a party, in-fact, at times, the staff looked like they were having as much fun as the guests, which is exactly what we wanted! One of the boys bought drinks to the dance floor for me so we didn’t have to stop dancing, and the drinks flowed late into the night with ‘English Garden’ and ‘Dark and stormy’ cocktails flowing from start to finish. The quality of the hired crockery, glassware and cutlery was superb, and brought Elle’s table plan to life when we set the tables the day before, it all arrived and got collected seamlessly.

“I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for the lovely dinner on Friday night. It was absolutely delicious, we enjoyed everything particularly the salsa verde and the amazing slow roasted tomatoes. None of us had ever had pine nut puree either and it went so well with the artichokes and poached egg. Dessert was lovely too, lemon tart is one of my mum’s favourites and she really enjoyed it. You managed to cater really well for our fussy tastes and still come up with interesting and flavour-packed dishes that we won’t forget in a hurry. It was also really nice to meet you and have you in the house for the evening – one of my reservations had been that it might be a bit weird having a stranger in such a small space, but you made it easy and relaxing having you around.”
